The album Beings of Light, released at the start of 2022, is Fort Romeau's love letter to dance music, a sentiment underscored by the range of its remixes. Following Ron Trent's take on "The Truth," the project's second remix is delivered by a rising star, Soela, the DJ and production alias of Russia-born, Berlin-based artist Elina Shorokhova. Soela zeros in on the atmosphere of "Spotlights," softening the edges of the original house track into a mesmeric ambient reprise, with the vocal sample left to echo from the fog.
Michael Greene adds, "Soela is one of my favourite new artists, her records on Dial, Kompakt, and my own label Cin Cin balance elements of deep house, electronica, ambient, and techno in a way that sounds somehow both timeless and modern. I love her dreamy unexpected beatless take on 'Spotlights.'"

Burial fully realises the ambient aspects of his work that he has been leaning towards over the past few years. Whether you like it or not, you can't deny that this is undeniably Burial. Kutkh_Jackdaw
